LoadWizz is operated by ARDALUNA HOLDINGS LLC (Tennessee, USA) and is offered only in the United States. This Privacy Policy & Data Usage Agreement explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1 · Our commitment (the “Iron Dome” promise)
LoadWizz is built on a “Fail-Closed” security architecture.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your individual financial details with brokers, shippers, or government agencies unless compelled by law.
- We generate anonymized, aggregated industry statistics to improve the logistics ecosystem.
2 · Data we collect
2.1 Information you provide (the “Core”)
- Vehicle data: make, model, year, MPG, axle count
- Cost data: monthly payments, insurance, maintenance CPM
- Operational data: home-time preference, work area, zone (US)
2.2 Automatically collected data
- Calculations: results of the load-profitability calculator
- Usage metadata: app-open frequency, feature usage, crash reports
- Device info: OS version, app version (for technical support)
2.3 Location data (optional)
- Origin/destination for toll calculations (not tracked continuously)
- GPS speed for the motion-detection safety feature
2.4 AI analysis data (optional)
- When you request an AI analysis, the relevant load details for that load (origin, destination, rate, and cost figures) are sent to our AI processor (currently OpenAI) for that single analysis.
- Processing is via API only and is not used to train the provider’s models.
- AI analysis runs only when you request it; no load data is sent to the AI processor otherwise.
3 · How we use your data (tiered consent system)
Tier 0 · Essential (mandatory) — to make the calculator work. Your data is processed on your device and in our secure database (Supabase). Sharing: none. Legal basis: contract performance.
Tier 1 · Usage analytics (default: on) — to fix bugs and improve UI flow (e.g. “user X clicked button Y,” crash reports). Shared with the internal LoadWizz team only. Opt out in Settings > Privacy.
Tier 2 · Aggregate industry metrics (default: on) — to create industry benchmarks (e.g. “average Volvo 2024 MPG”) using K-anonymity (minimum 10 users to generate a statistic). Anonymized statistics may be shared with industry partners. Opt out in Settings > Privacy.
Tier 3 · Research partner (opt-in only) — deep-dive studies on logistics costs (detailed cost-structure analysis), shared with research partners (universities, institutes). Requires explicit activation in Settings.
4 · Data mining & statistics
We may process your data to create “aggregated data” — datasets where your specific information is combined with thousands of others. For example: “User John Doe pays $3,000 insurance in Texas” (private) becomes “average insurance cost in Texas is $2,800/month” (public).
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent re-identification and do not attempt to re-identify any individual from aggregated data.
5 · Data retention
- Active accounts: data retained as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service.
- Inactive accounts: data archived after 2 years, deleted after 5 years.
- Deleted accounts: personal identifiers wiped within 30 days; aggregated stats remain.
- Calculation history: retained for 12 months unless manually deleted.
6 · Third-party services
We use the following processors. Each has their own privacy policy:
- Supabase (PostgreSQL hosting) — United States data centers
- OpenAI (AI analysis) — API processing only, no training on your data
- Stripe (payments) — PCI-DSS compliant; we don’t store card details
- HERE (toll calculation) — route data for API calls only
- Google Maps (distance) — route data for API calls only
7 · Your rights
7.1 For all users
- Access: request all your data in JSON format.
- Correction: update inaccurate profile data in Settings.
- Deletion: request permanent deletion via Settings or email.
- Opt out: disable Tier 1/2 data collection in Settings > Privacy.
7.2 Additional rights (CCPA and applicable U.S. state privacy laws)
- Right to know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect.
- Portability: export your data in machine-readable format.
- Opt out of sale/sharing: we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Limit sensitive information: request that we limit use of any sensitive personal information.
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
- Complaint: you may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or your state Attorney General.
